In an interview for EveningStandard entitled “2016 will be one of my busiest ever years“, Nile Rodgers declares that his “album with Johnny Mathis [delayed since 1981 due to disputes with management] is finally coming out”.

Nile is still working on the new CHIC album… Last he said he had one more song that required several busy schedules to work for all on that song to get together, and that he was working on that. Let us hope the holidays will provide an opportunity for that to work.
Beautiful words… Whilst the Mathis songs are mostly out there it would still be great to see the album released after all the debate and mystery. The Chic album will be amazing 👍 Do you know why it was delayed?
